Anywho, about the game itself, here are some neat little facts:
This is the 2nd sonic game to be on a non-SEGA system. The first being Sonic Jam on the Tiger Game.com
Until Sonic and the Secret Rings a few years ago, this was the last game to have Sonic only playable.
This was also probably the only attempt to mix the two style of Sonic, as well as have Eggman in his old and new outfit as well.

Mentioned in the first video, puzzle pieces are, at least I think so, a way to add to the already short game. There are 96 total, and it's random as to how many is in each act. As of now, I've only found 93, but I'll try and find the last 3. Also below are the puzzles that the pieces are used for:
